Q1) What do you mean by unlocked?
A1) A unlocked phone is not connected or locked to any network. This means you can use any networks SIM card in it.
Q2) Why would I need a unlocked gsm Phone?
A2) You need a unlocked gsm phone if your existing mobile phone has been lost, stolen or damaged beyond repair and you are still within the minimum 36 month agreement.
Per-haps you just want a different phone, but do not want to sign a new contract or change your mobile number.
Q3) Can I use a Unocked phone on 'pay as you go' and 'pay monthly'?
A3) It does not matter how you pay for your calls. Unlocked phones are suitable for all gsm service plans.
