DVDRs RWs VCDs, etc. I also collect movies from all around the world, so its ability to play both PAL & NTSC discs is phenominal. Great little unit....and I mean little. It really is Region Free.

by Mack Marett, Saturday 24 February, 2007 This unit is not an all region player per thr markings on the back if the player it is just region 1. Book also states it is not region free. Unless it has been flashed it will not play other regions. I have found firmware on the net to change it. I hope the PAL to NTSC works because that was main reason that I purchased. At this time I do not have any DVDs to test it on as bought it for future use. I will order a DVD to to test it with and if it works will do another review, *** ADDED FROM BARGAINOFFERS.COM Our units have been modified to play all regions, and are guaranteed to work, if it doesn't work in any case, we will take it back anytime.

by Aaron Hartzell, Wednesday 21 February, 2007 my husband bought this dvd player for me earlyer this month. and it works great - it is a very good deal for the price of $49.99 and free shipping. we finally found a dvd player who plays all my german dvds also very old ferrytales from russia. and when we get stationed somewhere else we dont have to worry anymore what regions the dvds have.. we found everything we were looking for in this dvd player..

by Jason Ward, Friday 25 February, 2005 This dvd player is a sweet deal, I bought this player earlier this month. It plays all my pal dvds and not to mention from all regions! It also plays mpeg files burned onto DVD media. On the downside, the remote buttons are too small (smaller than the CyberHome even) and hitting the open/close button doesn't always result in actually opening the tray, depending on the context. In closing, I am very satisfied with this dvd player that I bought another one!
